Great site ! I collect beer glasses from all over the world. I presently have over 300 glasses. I have recently put up my website after working on it for the past five years. Trafiłem przypadkiem i trudno było oderwać się od tej strony.Imponująca kolekcja i praca weń włożona. Nie zbieram, ale używam i z tego tytułu parę uwag o czeskim zbiorze. Pilsner Urquell i Plzensky Prazdroj (założony 1842) to jedno pisane po niemiecku i czesku, Gambrinus to oddzielny browar (1869)w Pilznie(choć teraz razem w grupie SABMiller)ale skoro go oddzielasz to dlaczego przydałeś mu w nazwie Plzeńsky Prazdroj? Primus jest tanią wersją Prazdroja i ID5220 nie powinien być pod Gambrinusem (patrz rewers). Na strony słowackie wpadło parę wafli 100%czeskich: ID1782 Opat z Broumowa, ID 1785 Rumburk - restauracje oraz ID 1792 (pod czarnym wołem) i ID 1799 (pod kocurem)Obie znamienite w swoim czasie piwiarnie na praskiej Małej Stranie pod Hradczanami. Hostinec U Kocoura przez lata był (niestety już nie jest)jedną z kilku tzw "Plzenskich Restauracji"(tak jak "U dwóch kocic" ID2178 i "U złotego tygrysa" ID2238 gdzie sobie Clinton z Havlem przygrywali)z beczkowym Prazdrojem, zupełnie innym niż obecna przemysłowa produkcja. Ale to se nevrati...

Hi Robert, You got a great collection of beer coasters there--fabulous! However, why do you call old German beer mats from Silesia and Pomerania Polish? There is, e.g., no brewery in Góswinowice these days, but there was one when the place was German and it was called Friedenthal-Giesmannsdorf (see printing on your two coasters GOS-1 and GOS-2) and later, till 1945, Groß Giesmannsdorf (the name was changed after the Nazis had got to power because the late Prussian minister Friedenthal, after whom the place had been named, had been a Jew. There are other examples of German beer mats that are called 'Polish', too. And there is other information that needs to be corrected, e.g., Heineken may own certain breweries now, but the company did not when the beer mats were created that you show here. By the way, i looked your finnish coasters and ID7498, ID5319 and ID5322 are not from finland. Two last(ID5319 and ID5322) are swedish but i don't know about the first(ID7498) one. That is maybe danish. Keep on collecting! :D

Witam wszystkich maniaków podstawek! Kurcze, jakoś mi się miło zrobiło jak zobaczyłem tę stronkę.Od roku noszę się z zamiarem zrobienia podbnej.Ze względu na pisanie magisterki na razie odpuściłem.Moja kolekcja liczy 867 podstawek, tyle że od kilku lat bardziej wpadam do jakiegokolwiek pubu w Europie na piwo niż po podstawkę:)Chętnie wymienię się podstawkami

Stronka naprawde super. Nie ma co tu dużo gadać - każdy widzi - poprostu rewelacja. A co do tego, że w całości po angielsku to według mnie jest dobra strona tej strony :) Jak widać Robert ma nawiązanych sporo kontaktów z kolekcjonerami z całego świata, więc to im powinno ułatwić poruszanie się po stronie.
